News Release January 2012

Maintaining Computed Tomography (CT) high image quality while reducing radiation dose up to 40%

GE Healthcare has developed a state of the art technology that significantly reduces radiation dose in computed tomography (CT).  The ASiR (adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction) technology can reduce dose up to 40% while maintaining image quality.

“I am impressed by how sharp the ASiR images are, especially considering the significant dose savings to the patient.” –Dr. Steven Michel, Central Oregon Radiology Assoc.

This breakthrough in technology is now available through Cascade Medical Imaging at St. Charles Bend, Central Oregon Radiology Assoc., and coming soon St. Charles Redmond. Click here to Schedule an Appointment | For more information click here
